Barrels

Barrels: We only use Custom Made Match Grade Barrels of the highest quality:

These barrels are of the best quality and perform to the most exacting accuracy standards.
We like to use barrels from Lothar Walther in our Full Custom Series Rifles. The following profiles are available;

• Roedale Magnum Sporter
• Roedale Varmint
• Roedale Sniper
• Roedale Custom Match

In our Semi Custom Series Rifles we use the following barrels / profiles:

• Semi Custom Sporter
• Semi Custom HBV

Note on Rifle Barrels:
Pete feels there is little to choose between barrels from the top manufacturers as far as the end precision of the rifle is concerned. The same can be said for any difference between cut and button rifles barrels. A good barrel, threaded, chambered and installed correctly will be accurate, irrelevant of the manufacturer or manufacturing process. What is absolutely important is:

• The attention to detail paid by the person who threads, chambers and fits the barrel.
• The service provided by the barrel manufacturer.

We have always had excellent service form Lothar Walther and can highly recomend thier Select Match Grade barrels with which we have had astounding results.
Trueflight from New-Zealand also make excellent barrels with which we have had good success. Customers wishing to use barrels from manufacturers other than Lothar Walther need to supply thier own barrels.
