During the development of the Roedale RAPTOR MPR (Modular Precision
Rifle) a special attention was paid to modular construction
capability. The goal was to create a highly adaptable weapon
system with integrated modularity, allowing the end user to taylor
the weapon to a particular usage or mission as well as to individual anatomical
constraints. Also the modular construction method of the Roedale RAPTOR
MPR permits rapid re-configuration the weapon system in the shortest
possible time.
Other advantages of the modularity of the Roedale RAPTOR MPR
lay in the unlimited interchangeability of the stock and chassis
parts, as well as the barrels (within caliber groups). This allows multiple
application ability.
All components where tested for physical and ergonomic qualities
at the concept stage by means the most modern CAD technology.
In prototype form the Roedale RAPTOR MPR was throughly field tested in
a variety of different mission situations, as well as
on the range over a 24 month test period. This gives the end
user the abilty to place thier trust in the day to day repeated
usage robustness and accuracy, as well as the ergonomic allround capability of
this weapon system.
