Roedale Series Custom hunting rifles are the latest and most advanced interpretation of the "Precision Hunting Rifle". This series of rifles was developed by Roedale Precision in cooperation with Professional Hunters and Military Snipers. All components are focused on absolute stability, reliability and accuracy. The highly rigid stocks and the rifle action design are based on proven technology. Rifle barrels selected for precision all carefully machined and assembled. Action parts and barrel exterior are sealed with corrosion protection ceramic or plasma coating. These are the basic specifications of an extremely rugged, extremely accurate hunting rifle. To withstand intensive use and abuse in tough environments and harsh weather a rifle has to be of a superior quality.

With the Avenger II Roedale's requirement for a manufactured in Europe bolt action has become reality. Based basicaly on a design that has become the standard custom rifle action design used world wide as well as featuring in some of the worlds most dependable Military Sniper and LE precision rifles. In the Avenger II you do not find just another Remington clone, you find a treid and tested rifle action design that is further developed to its optimim. Quiet and smooth operating helical fluted bolt. 3-position "Secura" safety catch which locks the bolt and bars the firing pin. A crisp 500g (adjustable) trigger, all ensure optimum safety, reliable operation and dependability.
Depending on the model, a variety of rifle stock types are used
Each stock type is designed for best possible ergonomics and a choice of these types of stock is available to customers.
We use precision-selected barrels, profiled to our specifications from Lothar Walther. Longevity and precision that has stood the test of time. Barrels are threaded for fitting of a muzzle brake or sound moderator and include a thread cap.
Triggers are based on the Remington 700 type. Set at 500g. Adjustable (depending on type) from 150g to 1500g.
The Secura 3 possition safety catch ensures absolute safety in operation. Pos 1: Fire-position - Firing pin free to fire and bolt is free to operate Pos 2: Unload Position: Firingpin is blocked, bolt can be operated to unload.Pos 3: Firing pin blocked and bolt locked closed. The SECURA-safety has a special safety catch which is incorporated into the safety locking lever. It locks the safety lever into the third position and can be released by pushing down on the locking lever as you push the lever into the 2nd position.
Cerakote ceramic coating provides the best possible corrosion protection under the worst weather and harshest of conditions. Plasma PVD coating is also a custom option.
Roedale hunting rifles use either a drop plate or a detachable magazine system
Right or Left hand versions available.
All Roedale Series Custom hunting rifles have an accuracy guarantee of <15mm at 100m ( 1/2 MOA) with 3 or 5 rounds (depending on barrel profile) of selected factory ammunition.

The difference between specific models of Roedale Precision Hunting Rifles comes down basicaly to a choice of caliber which will dictate a long or short action, barrel profile / lengthm the choice of rifle stock and the hunting environment for which the rifle is destined. All our hunting rifles share the same basic components as we believe that with a minimum of options our Precision Hunting Rifle's can be configured for optimum performance in every hunting situation you are likely to encounter.
What you have is 1 very accurate and dependable rifle that does what is promised. You can choose either a short or long barrel lenght and 2 different barrel profiles and have the rifle fitted with a choice of stocks.

FTR stands for Forest Terrain Rifle. This model is a short handy carbine type rifle with a short 18"- 20" barrel, primerily designed for use in backwoods hunting and on drive game hunts or followups in tight cover. It doubles however as a very handy all round rifle and is certainly capable out to extended hunting ranges. This rifle combines compactness and accuracy with excellent ergonomics and dependability. Depending on caliber choice it is also an excellent choice as a dangerouse game rifle or a rifle to be used when tracking wounded game.Compatible with calibers from .223Rem - WSM on the short action and 6.5x55- .458Win Mag on the long action.

ATHR stands for All Terrain Hunter Rifle: This model is a dependable and ergonomic all round rifle with a typical for caliber 22" barrel length Designed for use in a variety of hunting situations. Depending on caliber choice it can be used from the highlands of Scotland to the African plains and anywhere in between. For the one rifle that does it all there is no better choice than the Roedale GPH. Compatible with calibers from .223Rem - WSM on the short action and 6.5x55- .458WinMag on the long action

This light weight version of our ATHR rifle is designed to be as light and ergonomic as possible for use in the high country. This version features the revolutionary Alluminium Sleeved Barrel Technology from Lothar Walther. By turning a match barrel blank down to a very light sporter profile and then fitting an outer sleeve of construction grade alluminium LW deliver a barrel that has the outer contours of a varmint or sniper profile barrel but weighs less than a standard sporter barrel. This technology achieves the same goals as carbon wrapping of barrels but delivers better more repeatable accuracy. The MTHR also features a light weight composite rifle stock.

AGHR stands for African Game Hunter Rifle: This model is a dependable and ergonomic precision rifle with a light varmint profile barrel, designed for use in short to long range hunting situations on large game. The heavy barrel gives shot for shot stability for long shot strings and displays our typical outstanding accuracy.
Depending on caliber choice and action size, it can be used on all European and North America large game to African plains game or the big 5. Wherever a medium heavy rifle is required to get the job done, the Roedale AGHR will fullfill that requirement. Compatible with calibers from .450Marlin and WSM on the short action and .300WinMag- .458WinMag on the long action
